Kuala Lumpur, 6 November 2020 - Affin Hwang Capital confirmed that one of their employees, in their Penang branch has tested positive for COVID-19. The employee is currently receiving treatment at a hospital as advised by Ministry of Health (MOH). The firm is continuing to provide support to the employee and his family in every way possible.
They will continue to comply with the instructions and directions from MOH. All necessary actions were promptly taken to trace all of those who might have come into contact with the employee for them to provide the necessary support.
Affin Hwang Capital reaffirms that their employees remain at the forefront of their Bank’s priorities and their health and safety are paramount to the firm. They had decided early on, to take the prudent approach to ensure that their employee’s health and safety remain intact while continuing to keep close monitoring of COVID-19 to ensure their readiness in mitigating the situation.
